Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success.
-Edward Everett Hale
This quote stood out to me due to an upcoming post I’m working on. With Elections finishing, I think it’s about time we put aside all our difference and work towards coming together. This would be the first step, not just to a better country but in becoming better people and hopefully a better world all together. Doesn’t need to be something big, it can be as simple as getting to know your neighbor, classmate or co-worker that you’ve never talk to. As I said, all it takes is the first step which sometimes is the hardest. Even in the Latin community there as so many differences from Salvadorans to Mexicans to Puerto Ricans. I, for one, have always been intrigued in getting to know more about other countries, religions, traditions, or languages. As always, you don’t have to do what I say, but would it really hurt you to give it a try. Does it take anything away from you by getting to know someone who is different from what you are used to. Think about it. Well remember that life is what you make it so live it up; fill it with laughter and spread the love.
